I just released my latest book, Survive and Thrive After the Collapse of the Dollar two days ago. Already, sales are in the thousands and steadily climbing. Wow.
Although this is great news for me, I must admit to some surprise. Why?
For starters, it is not a long book. I kept is sweet and simple containing only what must be said regarding the future collapse of the economy which seems imminent at some point in the near future.
I have been studying the situation for years and only decided to publish this book after a discussions I had online with others. I thought there may be some interest in the subject, but seeing the results today entirely caught me by surprise. It would appear that more Americans are concerned about the state of our economy than I thought.
See, I am a political junkie which is why most of my books relate in some way to politics. But of course, the subject of the possible/likely collapse of our economy transcends politics because if the Dollar does collapse, so too does our nation as a political entity in the world. I certainly hope that does not happen, but the evidence seems overwhelming to me for a couple of reasons.
The first is that as most already know, we are faced with terrible deficits which will add to our already enormous National Debt. The second is that we are already struggling to pay for our obligations vis-a-vis the so-called Entitlement Programs. The last, which is the most pressing, is that we are faced with infinite inflation through our allowance of the printing of money at interest by the Federal Reserve, which is nothing more than the greatest Pyramid scheme the world has ever known. And we all know what happens with Pyramid schemes–eventually, they implode. Such schemes are illegal for you and I for this very reason–it is never a question of IF the scheme will fail, but WHEN.
The sad truth is that the only way out of the problem is highly unlikely to happen–we must disconnect ourselves from the Federal Reserve and return to the printing of Fiat currency. I just don’t see that happening.
For these reasons, there can be no doubt that someday, our economy will crash. The only question is when?
For this reason, I wrote the book, Survive and Thrive After the Collapse of the Dollar.
See, I studied what happened to ancient Rome, the USSR, and the US during the Great Depression and I cam to the conclusion that collapse will certainly not mean the end of life in our nation, just the end of life as we know it. Hence, I reasoned that there must be ways that one can prepare and that preparation should include ways to even thrive after national bankruptcy. In the book, I explain in simple, direct detail some of the things that allowed people in the former Soviet nations to thrive during their collapse along with considering the differences between that collapse and the one we face.
Indeed, there will be similarities and there are certainly differences between the two nations, so while many preparations will be similar, some must be different.
