Our newest author to JOEPublishingGroup.com has created an unusual sort of book. It is a photo book of Beautiful Women, but with a twist or two. The first twist is that this book is a celebration of beautiful transgender (transsexual) women from around the world. With a simple layout and design, this book features some of the most stunning and attractive transgender women you will ever see. The book features transgender women from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Printed in full-color and available in both print and Kindle editions, Ms Michelle added another twist to the book.
She has added a contest and whoever wins gets the pot.
The title of her book is Beautiful Women: Choose Well and Win because in this book she not only presents some of the most beautiful transgender women in the world, but has interspersed the book with women born with female genitals. The object of the contest is to see who can correctly identify the difference. Along with 240 transgender women she has included 60 women who were born female. If anyone can determine the 60 women who were born female out of the 300 featured women, that person will win the pot at the end of the rainbow.

The Pot as of March 24, 2013 to be Given to the first person to correctly identify those born female in Jacqueline Michelle’s book.
The pot was started at $100 beginning today. As the book sells, she is adding half of her royalties and JOEPublsihingGroup.com will be added 10% or our receipts. This will continue until someone wins or the end of 2015. If no one wins by December 31, 2015, Ms Michelle is going to choose one of the lucky ladies featured within as the winner.
Her reasoning behind the contest stems from her career as a social worker in a major city. Years ago in her work, she came across a former military officer who discovered he had ovarian cancer when he was in his twenties. Confronting his father, he found that he had been born with both genitals and a decision had to be made–the father choose a son. The only problem was that they made the wrong choice. The “man” was genetically female and to make the change work, surgery and hormone therapy was performed. So the girl, grew up as a boy, complete with the ability to father children. But some tissue remained when the testes were forced to drop from the therapy and this is where the ovarian cancer developed.
At the time, Ms Michelle was helping abused children, substance abusers, and the homeless. When she came across this particular case, she began work on a fictionalized version of the story and that is how we discovered her. She sent us a portion of the book and we immediately decided we wanted her in the JOEPub home. However, her book is not due for completion until late 2013 and in the mean time, she decided it would be interesting to find out just how many people could even tell the difference between a female born that way and a transgender woman.

The reason for this contest is that she is trying to raise awareness. All across America and in many parts of the world, transgender persons are discriminated against. When a person determines they must be true to their nature and consults with a physician, they are told to begin living as their correct sex, well before they receive an operation to alter their genitalia. This is because they identify with that sex. Thus, they are to use restrooms labeled according to their rightful gender and dress accordingly. Some in society have a problem with this and so discriminatory laws are passed. However, the reality is that in most cases, once the hormone therapy is in effect, no one can tell the physical gender–only the social gender.
So to highlight just how superficial this notion of concerning ourselves as a society with what is between someone’s legs, Ms Michelle has decided to put the concept to the test. If anyone can correctly determine what is between a woman’s legs by looking at her face or body, then that person will win the pot. To some degree, this is a social experiment but to a larger degree, it is social activism–she simply wants people to understand just how superficial it is to judge someone on appearance.
And let’s face it…everyone likes a book of beautiful women.
Update: April 29, 2013.
Wow, this book is selling better than I had thought it would. The pot reached nearly $300 a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow I am going to recalculate the pot, which I believe is going to increase to over $1000. We are still waiting for someone with a keen eye to win, so get those entries in while you can.
